We value the trust of our students but sometimes due to certain situations arise when students place a request for refund. This refund policy streamlines the terms and conditions for requesting and processing refunds. We ask all students to read this policy carefully before enrolling in any course or initiating a refund request.

Purpose of this policy

This policy sets out the rules for refund eligibility, the steps to submit a request, the documents required for verification, the fees that are not refundable, and the timelines for approval and payment.

Who can ask for a refund

Only enrolled students may request a refund and only under the conditions listed here. By joining any Softech Education course you agree to follow these terms.

How to submit a request

• You are requested to send your refund request to contact@softecheducation.com, It should include your complete name, name of the course, Date of enrolment and a reasonable point for the refund.
• You must make sure that all the required supporting documents that are mentioned in the next section, are included with your application.
• After receiving your request, we initiate the process of sending an acknowledgment and will verify the provided information. After this we will give all the information of the next step through mail.

Documents required

1. Proof of enrolment
2. Payment receipts
3. A valid government identity document such as Aadhaar or PAN
4. Any other document we ask for during verification

If the documents are incomplete or unclear the review may be delayed, or the request may be declined.

Processing time

We begin our review after we receive all required documents. Processing generally takes fifteen working days. Bank handling times or payment gateway rules may add a few more days in some cases.

Fees that are not refundable

To keep things transparent the following charges are not returned.

1. Goods and Services Tax at eighteen percent where applicable
2. Administration charge of five thousand rupees
3. If a refund request is submitted within 30 days from the date of enrolment, 50% of the total course fee (excluding non-refundable charges) will be refunded.
4. No refund will be initiated if the request is made after 30 days of enrollment under any circumstances.

How we calculate the refund

If a refund is approved the refundable amount is the course fee minus the charges listed above.

Time based eligibility

Early exit
If you ask for a refund within seven days from the date of enrolment, we will return the full course fee after deducting the administration charge and other nonrefundable amounts.

Initial exit
If you ask for a refund within thirty days from the date of enrolment, we will return fifty percent of the course fee after deducting the nonrefundable amounts.

After thirty days
No refund is available for requests made after thirty days from the date of enrolment.

Job Guarantee Program

If you enrolled in the one hundred percent Job Guarantee Program any placement related refund is governed by the Job Guarantee Program Policy. Please review the Placement Policy page for the detailed rules and eligibility.

Approval and payment

1. When a refund is approved, we transfer the amount using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction.
2. The time taken for the amount to reflect depends on your bank and the payment gateway.
3. Refunds are never issued in cash.

Important conditions

1. Requests must follow all Softech Education guidelines in this policy.
2. No refund is processed if a student violates the Terms and Conditions or the Code of Conduct.
3. Refunds are not transferable to another person and are not negotiable beyond what is written here.
4. Communications and decisions are shared by email for your record.
